The TAG Autavia watch is a somewhat subdued timepiece, inspired by vintage pilot’s watches rather than the energetic world of motor racing that usually inspires the brand.
The vintage design is presented through the sombre khaki smoked dial and is encased by antique bronze. Though the design is vintage, the materials are advanced, with a solid titanium in place as the case back, and black ceramic for the bidirectional turning bezel.
Minimalist dial design showcases and highlights the numerals and sword-shaped hands that are augmented with white Super-LumiNova treatment for enhanced readability in low light. The date is presented in an easy-to-see window at 6 o’clock.
